AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

I WILL MAKE THEE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this wonderful study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good to keep His people fully informed if they will but look at His Book and study. As we move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. You are important to us and to the Kingdom of God. The featured picture today is of a beautiful bird, I believe to be a Gold Finch. The picture came from Marilyn Stevens who takes some stunning pictures especially of birds. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 41:13-17 (KJV)
13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
Jacob, Israel, is in the pit so to speak, a low point, due to their own choices to rebel against God and rely on the arm of flesh. The Lord God is once again offering His Hand. This is the grace, the mercy, and the compassion of God for His people on full display. Grace, mercy, and compassion didn’t start at the Cross. These are some of the core elements of the character of God. Is it any wonder that there is wrath (of God) at the end of the age when we consider the arrogance of rejecting the Hand of God. In addition, in our time, rejecting the sacrifice of the Second Person of the Coequal Trinity. Now, let’s consider the fifteenth verse.
Isaiah 41:15 (KJV)
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
This is not something Israel could achieve on their own but with their hand in the Hand of the Holy One of Israel, just as with us all things are possible. Do you see any semblance between this and what Jesus taught?
Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
From the fall to the Resurrection of Christ things were done in the natural but not by natural strength alone but with the supernatural Arm of God. It is no different for us except we do more with speaking and dominating our spiritual foes. We speak to create, to change things (natural and spiritual) more than engaging in useless conversation. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood but evil spiritual forces.
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God was offering to return them to their rightful position as under rulers (gods) of the earth. God has done this for all mankind, if they will receive Him, at Calvary and the Resurrection. As I end for today let me remind us all of the following.
Ephesians 1:19-23 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Be not misled or confused we also are far above all.
Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
No authority, no power, can successfully challenge us in Christ Jesus. So then, why do we see the curse, demonic powers running rampant among Gods’ people? Unbelief!
