THE THREE MINUTE WORD
Tuesday – August 8, 2023, Av 21, 5783
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, my brothers and sisters in the faith, this common salvation. Welcome back to this enlightening study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. The study is not enlightening because of me, but because of Him, the Teacher. Please take a moment and share this teaching by every means available to you. The sharing is very important. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is provided by Joe Getchell Jr. a wonderful man of God, a faithful man of God, who also takes beautiful pictures. Thank you, Joe for your beautiful scenes.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah. Continue (not start) to read out loud.
Isaiah 44:1-5 (KJV)
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Perhaps one way that we can think about the use of these names, Jacob, Israel, and Jesurun is a distinguishing between the doing things the worlds way or God’s way. Who knows which way is best even when we don’t understand? Is anyone struggling with the answer? Let me help. The worlds’ way (Satan’s way) is stealing, killing, and destruction followed by eternal damnation (by our choice) in Hell. God’s way is to be as days of Heaven on earth followed by eternal bliss in Heaven. Let’s take a look at one way that Jesus described the Christian experience.
Mark 10:29-30 (KJV)
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
I know this really messes with the religious devils, the poverty spirits. Whether your Church teaches it or not, we were not created for poverty of any kind and neither were we redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus for poverty of any kind. Study your Bible it is everywhere. Even those in the Covenant of animal blood could have Heaven upon the earth in submission to God. Do we have a lesser Covenant dear ones. Now let’s focus in on verse three of our text.
Isaiah 44:3 (KJV)
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
Wow, what a promise! There is much thirst and much dry ground today. Oh Lord, help us to awaken to our need for your water (the Word of God) and your Spirit. Not the pablum (bland or insipid intellectual fare, entertainment, etc.) served up in many of our Christian Churches. The water is the Anointed Word of God. Notice that many may hear the physical utterance but it will only benefit those who are thirsty. Are you, am I, thirsty when we go to Church, enter our prayer closet, or otherwise engage with the Lord and His Word? However much we hear and study the Word of God we are still relatively dry ground. Dear ones, we cannot overdose or have an adverse reaction to the Word of God, the Truth. On the other hand we can have all kinds of adverse reaction to the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons. Get my book, “Sacred Cows Among the Ekklesia” either through our website https://www.awakeariseandtriumphministries.org or through Amazon.com/books. The Church is rife with really bad teachings.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
