MEN OF STATURE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to another edition of my Bible teaching from the wonderful Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good to give us a lamp unto our feet which is the Word of God. Please take a moment to share this Bible teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 45:13-15 (KJV)
13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Let’s take a look at the fourteenth verse in the Young’s Literal Translation to gain more insight.
Isaiah 45:14 (YLT)
14 Thus said Jehovah, `The labour of Egypt, And the merchandise of Cush, And of the Sebaim–men of measure, Unto thee pass over, and thine they are, After thee they go, in fetters they pass over, And unto thee they bow themselves, Unto thee they pray: Only in thee is God, And there is none else, no other God.
Even in Old Testament times obedience (love) to the Lord with a whole heart brought the riches of the world into the Kingdom of God. Does any of this sound familiar? We find it again just a few chapter hence.
Isaiah 61:6 (KJV)
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
This is not just for them at that time, this is a Truth for the people of God for all time. There should be a common understanding from what they witness that the One true God is with us. Do they see that?
Deuteronomy 28:9-11 (KJV)
9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Does God change? Do we have a whole different God today then they had in that day? Carefully read Deuteronomy chapter 28 again, slowly, especially the first 14 verses, examining each and every word. Are these things going on in the body of Christ, in your life, in mine? Are they, the heathen, afraid of you?

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
