Greetings in the name of our precious Lord and Savior and welcome back to this engaging study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. God is so good. The featured picture is from my ranching days. The two buffalo were named Adam and Eve, I don’t recall the name of the donkey trying to get some of the cubes in the trough. Before I move into our study for today, once again I believe the Lord would have me share something I received of Him. I did not hear an audible voice but this is a knowing revelation which is far and away the most common way I hear from Him. This is what I received; “It is impossible to be defeated since we are in Christ Jesus. The enemy deceives us into believing we can be or are defeated, the result is the same. We create a defeated world all the while the reality is that we are victorious in Christ Jesus.”
Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 45:17-19 (KJV)
17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Using verse 17 of our primary Bible text the Holy Spirit has led us into a study of the relationship between Israel and the Church. The Church has not replaced Israel but rather is grafted in with them to the Olive Tree. It has always been the will of God that all peoples be in Covenant family/kingdom relationship with Him. In addition, you will recall that we are talking about our obligation to pray for, minister to of our treasure, and honor the Jewish peoples, the nation of Israel. Let’s pick up with the 11th chapter of the Book of Romans.
Romans 11:26-32 (KJV)
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Who is this Deliverer that shall come out of Sion? The Deliverer is none other than Jesus the Christ. Sion commonly means the City of Jerusalem in Israel but it can also mean the Church. Jesus the Messiah is the Head of the Church. It was a Roman soldier (a Gentile) who physically pierced Him but it was the Jewish religious leaders and other Jews who cried out for His crucifixion. We are all guilty.
Zechariah 12:10 (KJV)
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
John 19:37 (KJV)
37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Revelation 1:7 (KJV)
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
This is referring to the Second Coming of Christ when He touches down on the Mount of Olives. All shall see this even either in person or by satellite TV. There will be a great harvest of souls during the Great Tribulation, last 3½ years of the Tribulation. The remaining Jews will recognize Messiah and repent and as Romans 11:27 God will take away their sin and they will be a people before Him forever.
Jeremiah 31:33-36 (KJV)
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Praise the Lord! Don’t feel left out dear ones, the Church shall also be a nation before the Lord forever as well.
Lord willing, I will pick up with our regular study of Isaiah tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
