IT IS TIME TO REBUILD THE CHURCH ON THE WORD

REBUILDING THE HOUSE OF GOD

As we have been approaching the start of 2026 I have been asking the Lord what He would say to the Church through me. There is only one entity on the earth that can stop and reverse the moral freefall of this nation and the world. That entity is the Church, each of us individually and corporately in our groups, but it will not occur in the present condition of the Church, body of Christ. As I have been asking the Lord about this and meditating upon it, I believe He has brought three things to mind. First, He reminded me of two prophecies He had given me and I discussed those yesterday. Second is a recent sermon that I won’t get to today either, but next week. And third are two sacred cows that much of the Church believe to be true which I will get too next week.
I left off yesterday after introducing the idea that King Cyrus of old was the type and shadow of a modern-day Cyrus, President Donald Trump. As you read the following Scriptures, I think you will be able to see President Trump quite clearly.
Isaiah 45:1-4 (KJV)
1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
Are you seeing it? Have you seen anyone move with such authority on the whole earth? Why was Cyrus of old and the Cyrus of our day, President Trump, put in office? For the sake of the elect! Let’s skip down a few verses.
Isaiah 45:13 (KJV)
13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
This man, Donald Trump has chosen to serve this nation at great personal expense and grave personal danger. President talks nonstop about returning this nation to its heritage. Now, let’s shift to the Book of Ezra as we look at how King Cyrus of old foreshadowed our current President.
Ezra 1:1-2 (KJV)
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Just as King Cyrus of old was charged by God Alrighty to build or rebuild the Temple at Jerusalem so is this President charged with giving the Church a space of time to rebuild in the United States then around the world. What are we doing with this invaluable gift Church?
Well, I didn’t get to the second segment of this teaching which has to do with our vision for 2026 springing off a recent sermon I heard. We will get to that on Monday.
TAKE HOME:
- King Cyrus (and Darius) of old was a type and shadow of our current President, Donald Trump.
- The man assignment of King Cyrus was to help the Jews return to Israel and rebuild the House of God.
- President has been brought into office by the mercy and forbearance of Almighty God to facilitate and give a space of time for the Church to rebuild returning to the Truth.
Lord willing, I will resume right here Monday. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
