JESUS BLOOD ON THE MERCY SEAT TO THE CATCHING AWAY
Greetings my precious brothers and sister in Christ and welcome back to this wonderful thought-provoking study of life in Heaven. As I have mentioned many times before with these teachings, musings, I do not always have specific Scriptures with two or three witnesses to point to but the teaching will always be consistent with Scripture and the character of our God. You will likely recall that I am now speaking about the pillars of the society in Heaven which is established in the earth as well. Recall, that all things in the earth reflect the Heavenly albeit today they are corrupted by the curse, but still recognizable.
Proverbs 9:1 (KJV)
1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
The seven pillars established by God, by Wisdom, are as follows; 1. Religion, 2. Government, 3. Media and Information, 4. Education and Science, 5. Business and Finance, 6. family, and 7. Arts and entertainment. Seven is the number of spiritual completions. Last week I dealt with the Religion Pillar and this week I will move on to the Government Pillar. I sure that we all understand that within or part and parcel of the Religion Pillar is all of the Word of God with its Spiritual Laws. This could be thought of as the policy and procedure manual of Heaven. When we arrive in Heaven among many wonderful things we will be taught the fullness of the laws of Heaven both spiritual and physical. The physical laws, their function is a reflection or the mirror image of spiritual laws. Spiritual Laws give rise to physical laws. These laws will exist and do exist in harmony together however the dominant laws by far are the spiritual. All manifestations in the physical are preceded by manifestations in the spiritual. All manifestation occurs first in the spiritual then in the physical. These spiritual laws operate and are subject to the laws of faith filled words spoken in love (as instructed by God). You may be wondering about the need for the physical laws in Heaven. In the time-frame (fifth) I am currently writing about there are two persons in Heaven with natural physical bodies like yours and mine and those persons are Enoch and Elijah. In addition, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus has a resurrected uncorrupted physical body as do all the Old Testament saints who were resurrected (first wave of the first resurrection) with Jesus. These physical bodies require laws and physical supports like food. Perhaps we will get into more of this in a later discussion. Now, to at least start on the Pillar of Government.
Government Pillar
Yes, there is government in Heaven. It is the same government we are subject to now as I write this piece. This government is not a democracy or a democratic republic like America neither is it Socialistic, Communistic, or a Dictatorship, but it is a Theocracy. According to Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary a theocracy is the government of a state (in this case a Kingdom) by the immediate direction of God. Israel was a Theocracy from the time they left Egypt until the time they clamored to God for a king. You will recall that God allowed Saul to be anointed by the Prophet Samuel. This issue of Israel abandoning God and having a King is interesting but at the heart is the fact that we are freewill being. God will allow us to make mistakes, to be righteous or unrighteous, saints or sinners but in His mercy, He will always warn us, extend mercy, and make a place for repentance as He did Israel. Jesus is the King of kings and a king has absolute authority; with no place for voting or rendering of an opinion.
Governments bring order, structure, and provides the framework for how we work within our own special assignments. Our Policy and Procedure manual will be the same as now, The Holy Bible. Now and then we will forever dive deeper into our understanding of the Word of God. Let me point out that we are not all the same rank or on the same level in the earth or in Heaven. Our rank or level of authority in earth and on entry into Heaven is determined by our faith, love, and obedience during our time in the earth. How well did we reflect Christ is what it is all about? I suggest that we all review the accounts of the talents (Matthew 25) and pounds (Luke 19). Heaven is not a socialistic or communistic society. Remember, all that we read in the Bible has to be seen in context and in the light of the full counsel of Scripture. For example, consider the following passage.
Acts 2:44-45 (KJV)
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
This gets touted, especially by preachers, as the will of God but it is not. God is all about our productivity by the use of our faith filled words in love led of Holy Spirit. Some twenty years later we see the outcome of this evil ungodly practice at the birth of the Church.
Romans 15:25-26 (KJV)
25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
The rich can never make the poor rich for it is a spiritual poorness that results in physical poorness. Lord willing, I will pickup right here next Saturday. Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
