TIME FRAME FOUR
Genesis 3:6 to Hebrews 1:3
This study of the eight time-frames of “Life in Heaven” is just phenomenal but would we expect anything less from our God? We are still in the fourth time-frame which is from the Day of Sin and Death in the Garden of Eden until Jesus puts His most precious Blood on the Mercy Seat of Heaven. The most prominent thing that changed in Heaven in this time period is the Word vacating His throne to be the Savior of the World. Now, let’s give some thought to the Holy Spirit in this time-frame.
It may be that Holy Spirit is not everywhere present in every dispensation or time-frame. I could hear your gasp from here. Having said that, I believe a more accurate statement may be that although He is everywhere present eternally (all eight time-frames) He does not have legal standing to manifest in all eight. In this fourth time-frame Holy Spirit was severely restricted especially compared today where is only restriction is us. When I say we are His restriction, it is our failure to speak (we have the authority, He has the Power) the Word of God, the will of God, leaving Him idle. In this Old Testament period David talks about where he could go that God would not be, and it was nowhere. Remember, King David was a King and a Prophet, one of those Anointed by God by His decree through the Prophet and by faith (David’s faith in God).

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
In spite of Holy Spirit being everywhere present we see times when God or His angels came to earth is see if this or that was true. An example is the tower of Babel (Genesis 11:5) and before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18). On the Day of Sin and Death in the Garden of Eden the fulness of Holy Spirit had to vacate the earth with the holy angels. Man choose another god, the Serpent. They could not return in fulness with legal operational freedom until the sin problem was dealt with and men could be born again. We see that wonderful return on the Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter two. Now at our request in faith He will quicken our dead spirit and fill us with Himself and as we speak the will of God in faith, in love the marvelous manifestations of God in the earth the lives of peoples are once again possible (Fifth Time-Frame).
In this fourth time-frame we are discussing that was not possible and getting answers could be hindered. We see for example that the answer to Daniels prayer was delayed twenty-one days by a principality and he got the answer only after an angelic battle yet his prayer was heard on the first day. The communication, the speech of man is heard by God instantly (facilitated by Holy Spirit), we see God speak of terms like the “cry of it” (Genesis 18:21) and so on. The Bible Numerology is interesting here in that eighteen is the number of bondage and twenty-one the number of exceeding sinfulness. The legal ability for Holy Spirit to manifest is directly related to Covenant. In the Old Covenant only the Priest, Prophet, and King had the abiding presence of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit was not in them but upon them, Anointing them. God communicates to us by Holy Spirit through our quickened spirit. These men (and women) of old had dead spirits and therefore could not hear the voice of God in that fashion any more than a dead person physically can hear our conversation.
There are Old Testament examples of persons filled with Holy Spirit, again appropriating from a different dispensation by faith. God is no respecter of persons, you can reach anywhere by faith in God for any of the good things of God. God however could recognize, by the sprinkled animal blood, those who were not in the office of Prophet, Priest, or King and He acted on their behalf according to the animal Covenant. There is certainly a limited legal capacity for Holy Spirit to manifest in the various time-frames, like the Old Testament time-frame. God always has the capacity to act but not the legal right. In all time-frames the catalyst for God to act is faith. The peoples in this time-frame had to go to the Prophet, Priest, or angelic visitation to hear from God (through Holy Spirit) but today we are inhabited by Holy Spirit and have within us the very mind of Christ. Holy Spirit could not legally or functionally inhabit, abide in, people before the Cross for the price of sin, eternal life had not been paid. When I say “functionally inhabit”, it is to say that God had no part with sin or death and therefore can not live with death (our dead spirit), but now at salvation that dead spirit is quickened (made alive). That spirit in us is the same as the Spirit that comprises Holy Spirit excepting the features unique to God (capitol G).
The First Person of the Godhead, Yahweh, is in Heaven in every time period. There is a suggestion that during the time-frame following the Millennial reign of Christ which is eternity future He may walk among His people.
Revelation 21:3 (KJV)
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
It appears that in eternity forward the one we now (starting with the fifth time period) call Father will have His primary abode in Heaven (New Jerusalem come to earth). The people on the earth at that time will be the Old Testament saints, the Jews that survive the Tribulation and receive Jesus as Lord at His Second Coming and the Church. The primary residence of the Church is Heaven but they will walk the earth and very likely other places as well. The primary residence of the Israelite is the earth. In this time, the eternal time period, there will be no more death for the Jew or the Church. Just a peek forward, next week back to the fourth time period.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
