AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

MADE THE EARTH TO TREMBLE
Greetings precious friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. We are always ready to receive partners. A partner is one who come along side financially. I will say the same to you as the Apostle Paul said to those who were to partner with him.
Philippians 4:17 (KJV)
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Giving is commanded of God, first the tithe (10% of all gain) and then in addition what is commonly referred to as “freewill offerings”. It is vital that you not give by coercion of any kind, or pressure of any kind, but only as the Lord leads.
As we continue moving forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry. Be reminded to pray not only for your own marriage but also for those marriages in your circle of influence, in your jurisdiction.
Now let’s move on to our text in Isaiah which is very fascinating but also very revealing concerning the one we call Satan, the Devil, the Old Dragon, the Serpent, and so on. Studying the fall of Lucifer is not only revealing but empowering. It is revealing about our fallen nature (flesh, carnality). Those things we don’t like in our nature, the ungodly aspects of our flesh that we must crucify (sometimes daily), came from our old father, the Devil. Remember to continue reading out loud, you are reading out loud, right?
Isaiah 14:15-17 (KJV)
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Yesterday I left off talking about how Lucifer became self-deceived and that propensity is in our fallen nature as well. I talked about the “I will” in our prior text. This can be dangerous speech when we do not acknowledge the Lord in ALL that we do. When we start hearing the word ‘I’ in our own speech or another, a red flag should go up. It is easy to think we are doing it forgetting that we can do nothing of ourselves. Really hone in on the 28th verse in the following passage.
Acts 17:28-29 (KJV)
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Now back to our primary text and the phrase in verse seventeen “made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities”. We have seen this by another Prophet.
Jeremiah 4:23-27 (KJV)
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
It appears there was at least one civilization on the earth before this current one. See the destruction and death brought by sin. That destruction was total and without remedy for Lucifer, 1/3 of Heavens angels who committed treason with Lucifer, and the whole civilization of the earth irretrievably corrupted by Lucifer.
Genesis 1:1-3 (KJV)
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And so, it starts over, only this time with a man, a man in the image and likeness of God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
