OPEN BLIND EYES

Missouri Governor’s mansion
Greetings dear and precious saints of the ONLY living God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog and our study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. Isn’t the Word just wonderful? It is a Book of life, the ONLY Book of Life. If we will do this Book, we will be bringing the will of God into the earth, days of Heaven upon the earth. As far as it concerns us, we can know and do the will of God and yes, we can even have days of Heaven upon the earth. So, let’s think about why we are not seeing the will of God in our lives, days of Heaven upon the earth, in our lives? Throw that poverty and suffer till we die theology into the ditch, it is a demonic lie. I don’t care who told you, get rid of it! We are studying Isaiah, why did hardship come to the children of God time after time? Not doing the will of God! If you are still reading take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. Please continue reading out loud. The featured picture today is of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion and is to remind us to pray for all that are in authority.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (YLT)
1 I exhort, then, first of all, there be made supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, for all men:
2 for kings, and all who are in authority, that a quiet and peaceable life we may lead in all piety and gravity,
3 for this is right and acceptable before God our Saviour,
We are not only commanded to pray for ALL in authority but to obey and honor them as well. Well, Church how are we doing with these commands?
1 Peter 2:13-14 (YLT)
13 Be subject, then, to every human creation, because of the Lord, whether to a king, as the highest,
14 whether to governors, as to those sent through him, for punishment, indeed, of evil-doers, and a praise of those doing good;
At this time let us turn our attention to our primary Bible Text in the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 42:7-12 (KJV)
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
As you know this chapter is Messianic in nature and is so wonderful. These people were looking ahead to a coming Messiah, we look back upon a Messiah who has come and whom is our Lord and Savior. As we read down through the chapter to our text for today we can see that this is the Father talking to he One who is the Son to come. Let’s look again at verse six in the Message Bible.
Isaiah 42:6 (MSG)
6 “I am GOD. I have called you to live right and well. I have taken responsibility for you, kept you safe. I have set you among my people to bind them to me, and provided you as a lighthouse to the nations,
I hope that we all can see and fully appreciate, REALLY appreciate the lengths to which our Heavenly Father, God, went to for our redemption. It took 4000 years and great expense on the part of Heaven to restore what Adam lost on that Day of Sin and Death. In the Garden of Eden when they listened to the Serpent they gave their authority to Satan (the Serpent) becoming his servant, forfeited the Blessing, and chose him as their god. When God, the Eternal Self-existent One (Father) says “my people” here he is referring to the Jewish people. He paid all Heaven had to offer for their redemption as ours. A new Covenant was coming for Jew and Gentile alike through and in Christ (Messiah) Jesus (Savior). The Scripture goes on in verse seven to tell us that this Messiah is bringing a light to open blind eyes, and to show the way out of prison.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
