AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

PRESERVE THE TEACHING
Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this empowering Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. The featured picture today was found on the Facebook page of a childhood friend. I like these pictures but I do lament the deterioration of these old stately barns with much history. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text reading it out loud.
Isaiah 8:15-19 (KJV)
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
Yesterday we ended with verse fifteen and uncomfortably discovered that it is we ourselves that choose the path of stumbling, falling, brokenness, being snared, and taken. Of course, the demons and other people demon controlled are more than happy to assist us in this process. The bottom line is that we choose our own paths of destruction. There is no need for any of us to stumble, fall, be broken, be snared or be taken. We are not predestined to any of these things. Jesus never stumbled, fell, was broken, snared, or taken yet faced all the same temptations as we do which lead to these awful things of the curse. Jesus is the model Son and we are all sons. We are to be just like Jesus in all ways. Yes, it is possible and expected by our Heavenly Father. Discard all that trash teachings about “but that was Jesus”, “we all sin”, “I don’t understand it but God is in control” and “God is working something out in my life”. I will shortly be having a book that addresses these lies of demons we tell ourselves. Let’s read a portion of our Isaiah text in the New Living Translation.
Isaiah 8:15-17 (NLT)
15 Many will stumble and fall, never to rise again. They will be snared and captured.”
16 Preserve the teaching of God; entrust his instructions to those who follow me.
17 I will wait for the LORD, who has turned away from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my hope in him.
The Scripture says that “many” who stumble and fall will never recover, never rise again. That is not to say they go to Hell but it does say that they never walk in the provisions of the Cross and Resurrection. They have a life talking about the promises of God but never partaking of them. Remember, this is all a choice that we individually make. I don’t know that anyone choses to be financially poor, have poor health, or any number of other bondages under the curse. However, we do choose ideas, words, other than those of God which leads to the curse and not the Blessing.
When we move into verse sixteen preserve the teachings of our God and entrust those instructions to those who are following after God. This is not those who say they are following after God but those who are actually doing the thoughts of God. This is not those who declare they “love” the Lord but we cannot see fruit of that love in their lives. The love I am talking of is ‘agape’. Jesus said that if we truly loved Him there would be evidence, manifestation in our lives.
John 14:21 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
I know this is all real hard on that religious spirit. That spirit produces bondage and potentially every manifestation of the curse. Jesus came to set us free of all captivity, all bondage. We are to bring the same into the lives of others by way of the Anointing upon us, the same Anointing which was upon Jesus.
Isaiah 61:1 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isaiah 10:27 (KJV)
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
