AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

SOURCE OF INFORMATION OF TRUTH
Greetings precious children of God, the new year is upon us and much lies ahead that will separate the sheep from the goats. There will be wonderful times of victory and great manifestations of the Spirit for many in the body of Christ for those who have been preparing and a very challenging time for those who have not. The number twenty-two (22) is the number of light. Are we walking in the light or do we just think we are walking in the light? The light is God Himself. It is also the pure Anointed Word of God, the Truth. It is not the traditions of men or the doctrines of demons. Have each of us been asking ourselves why we believe what we believe and proved it by Scripture. All must be proven by Scripture not by the Pastor, grandma or anyone else, and certainly not by the various commentaries available.
Before I proceed further, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. If you didn’t share you might ask yourself why not. Now let’s prepare to read our primary text from the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud. It only seems awkward because we have been ashamed of the gospel except in Church, and we were not taught correctly concerning the importance of saying aloud the Words of God. Nothing, I repeat, nothing gets done until it comes out of our mouth. God is not out there doing this that and the other as He wills. He passed authority in the earth to man and He will not violate that law and moves only on His Words in a man’s (or woman’s) mouth spoken in faith, in love, without doubt, and as He leads. His idea not mine. Now, lets move to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 8:19-22 (KJV)
19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
Are we clear that we are not to consult with familiar spirits, or with people who say they are consulting the dead? Familiar spirits are those ‘familiar’ with each of us, with our families, and the various spiritual and physical weaknesses (curses) in our families. Say in generations past our people died of cancer, these spirits will be pushing us daily to speak that into our lives. What is the Truth about our lives, spiritual and physical? Who would we consult to find the Truth and walk in it? Hope you got this, it is our Lord God, the Holy Scripture and it alone. Dear ones we choose to either curse or bless ourselves and those around us. What have we been doing today? Now, let’s take a look once again at what the Lord said on this topic through Moses in the Book of Leviticus, the Levitical Law.
Leviticus 19:30-32 (ESV)
30 You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
31 “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the LORD your God.
32 “You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD.
Perhaps someone is saying; “oh, but Dr. Wood, we are not under the law, we are under grace”. Really!? So, we can just throw out the Ten Commandments and all the others? I don’t think so! Under the Old Covenant confirmed by innocent animal blood there was a constant sin consciousness since sin was not blotted out. We have a better Covenant with the blotting out of sin before salvation and sin after salvation with repentance, all cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. The defeat of the Devil with the Cross, and the Resurrection brought authority and the Blessing back to man (who serve the Lord). The Blessing the Holy Spirit, enables us to keep all of the Law by our focus on walking in love (agape) being love just as our Lord. So, we do not like the saints of old try to keep the laws of God in our own strength but in His strength, we submit ourselves to Grace (God the Holy Spirit). Scripture tells us that Jesus did all things with the help of the Eternal Spirit and so can we. Jesus was without sin, and so can we be without sin (not by the ideas of perverted grace) but with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and focus on love, on the Word.
Hebrews 9:14 (KJV)
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
