THE EGYPTIANS ARE MEN

Greetings precious followers and partners of The Three Minute Word blog and this Ministry. Welcome back to this empowering through enlightenment Bible Study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment to share this teaching to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. You are important to us and to the Kingdom of God. The featured picture today depicts God speaking through His Prophet Isaiah. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading out loud.
Isaiah 31:3-5 (KJV)
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.
The world system (Egyptians) is not Gods’ system, the Kingdom of God system. It is far inferior however many of Gods’ people more highly value and have confidence in what they can evaluate with their five physical senses than the spiritual. Everything manifest in the physical had its origin in the spirit (far superior realm) realm whether we are talking about the air we breathe or someone’s hypertension. The Lord is trying to drive this point home in verse three of our text however, did they receive that knowledge, believe it, and implement it? Have we? Where must our primary focus and faith be focused? We must be focused on the Lord and on His Word, upon His promises which are yes and amen. The Devil is delighted when we are focused on and depend upon the government, our job, our uncle, and so on for now he has given us another god, a false god. Now we have given him (our spiritual enemies) place in our lives, and the door is open to the curse. One clear gauge of our focus is in our giving. Are we tithing, giving freewill offerings, and helping people with our talents/gifts, time, and money.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (AMP)
6 [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].
8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
Do we really believe any of this? Does any of this passage bring an excitement to our hearts? Now, let’s move into the 4th and 5th verses of our text. I hope you have noticed (I have pointed it out several times) that the consequences of sin are interspersed with extravagant promises of deliverance in turning from sin? This is what we see in these verses. The devils’ devices to steal, kill, and destroy in our lives comes out of the spirit realm of darkness and the abundance of God in every sphere comes out of the spirit realm of light. Which one is subservient to the other? Light always, always, always, always displaces darkness, never once has darkness not been displaced by light. Why do we choose darkness? We fail to discipline our minds and follow after Truth. Instead, we follow our emotions, what feels good at the moment, what others are doing, and what seems right by our own reasonings which too often are those of the world. In place of world put devil.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow as we jump into a new month.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
