DO YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE?

Welcome dear children to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and the ongoing study of The Kingdom of God and repentance. This was the major theme of Jesus’ Ministry and thus must be of ours as well. Jesus taught the Laws of the Kingdom and demonstrated the Laws of the Kingdom. What about you and me? Without further ado lets go to our anchor Scripture and delve once again into what is necessary for our success in the Kingdom.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I ask once again, do we see this as a doable command? Is the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in the forefront of our thinking or do the things of the Kingdom follow after the things of our own natural lives? One is righteousness, one is sin, which are you, am I, doing? I will now move into the next teaching from the mouth of the Master about the Kingdom. As we work to that teaching, we find Jesus talking about marriage.
Matthew 19:4-6 (KJV)
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Jesus said there are two sexes, and we finally have a President of the United States that knows that Truth as well. He then talks about the marriage relationship which is mirrored in our relationship with Him. We are to be one, not two, we are to speak with one voice in a marriage and in our walk with Jesus the voice of Heaven. There is then a discussion about divorce which was never the idea, the will of God. Then the disciples ask if it is better to not marry.
Matthew 19:10-12 (KJV)
10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
What is the definition of the word “eunuch”? According to Bible Discovery it is Strong’s number G2135 ὁ εὐνοῦχος, -ου (Ho eunoukhos, -ou) a castrated person – by extension an impotent or unmarried man
So, we see that an “eunuch” is not only a man that has been physically or chemically castrated but may be a man born with the inability to have an erection or very low testosterone or simply one who chooses not to be married. Jesus does not command celibacy but tells us that is a choice we can make and that there are men who are anointed, empowered, to remain without a wife. This Anointing likely related to their Kingdom assignment.
TAKE HOME:
- Jesus tells us plainly there are two sexes.
- We are also told that when married the two are to function as one, speaking with one voice, just as we function and speak with one voice with Heaven.
- Serving in the Kingdom of God does not require celibacy, it is a choice. Jesus does point out however that there are those who remain unmarried for the Kingdoms sake.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
