Greetings dear saints of God, followers and partners with this Ministry. Today I am continuing our study of The Kingdom of God. This was the major thrust of Jesus’ earthly Ministry and therefore of ours. Really, the whole Bible if you are looking for it is instructing us in Kingdom of God living. Can you imagine there is a better life now or later than the life the Kingdom of God makes available? Now let’s turn to our anchor/golden text.
Matthew 6:33 (AMP)
33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
So, what is to be first in our lives? Is His Kingdom and doing things the Kingdom way first or are one or more other things first and we work the Kingdom in as we can. Sadly, all too often it is the latter. As noted yesterday I am returning to the discussion of Kingdom peace and the numerology associated with Jesus speaking peace to His disciples on Resurrection Day. This discussion started with the following text.
Luke 9:2 (KJV)
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
The question was asked; what would preaching the Kingdom of God look like? The Apostle Paul brought clarity by telling us by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy.
Romans 14:17 (KJV)
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
I then launched into a discussion of exactly what Bible/Gods righteousness, peace and joy are. We found that the Holy Spirit is intimately tied to all of it including entry or the first step (salvation) into the Kingdom of God. None of it is possible without His help. That brought us to the following Scripture as we were studying peace.
John 20:19 (KJV)
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
In another study, The Salvation Package, I discussed at length how closely linked salvation and peace are nearly synonymous. With that in mind we might paraphrase what Jesus said as salvation be unto you. Salvation has to do with rescue from Hell, safety now and forever, deliverance from all the curse, and health. Let’s go back and review Bible peace. Bible peace means to be joined (with God in purpose), having prosperity (no poverty in Heaven), being one (spirit, soul, and body), having quietness, access to the provision of Heaven (includes healing, no one is sick in Heaven) and one again with God according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. The disciples in the room that day were the first members of the ecclesia (Church).
Now as promised let’s look at the Bible Numerology of John 20:19. The Bible is so wonderful. John is the fourth Book of the New Testament so I will deal with the number four which I get from meditating and studying the fourth day of creation. Four has to do with illumination and authority (backed by Gods Power) including delegated authority to the Church. The number twenty is the number of redemption. That day, Resurrection Day, the Redeemer had come and redemption for mankind was complete. This brings us to number nineteen, which is the number of faith. You will recall that we cannot please God without faith and faith is fueled or powered by love (Godly love). Faith in the Redeemer brings illumination, authority, and Power (the Blessing) into our lives and we are pleasing to God.
TAKE HOME:

Lord willing, I will resume right here next Saturday. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
