I WILL POUR WATER
Greetings dear children of God on this first day of August 2023. We are well over half way through the year already. One might say where has the time gone. Another might say, have we used that time most efficiently for the Kingdom of God. Let’s consider the Words of the Lord through the Apostle Paul.
Ephesians 5:15-17 (KJV)
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
That word “redeeming” means making the best use of our time. Have we made the best use of our time? Please take a moment and share this Bible teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture was provided by Joe Getchell Jr. It is of a pond in Maine before the ice had completely gone out. Joe takes some really amazing pictures. Thank you so much Joe. You are a faithful man of God.
Before I move forward, I want to extend an invitation to all who are not partners to become partners with this Ministry. I have several books which are available on Amazon.

Now, let’s focus our attention on today’s primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 44:1-5 (KJV)
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Yesterday I ended discussing again the command to fear not. We find this or some variation meaning the same very often in the Scriptures. We are well equipped to not fear. That does not mean we will not be aware of the presence of fear or feel fear on his approach but we do have to let him in and react like unbelieving Christians or the world. You have most likely noticed the word “Jesurun” in our text, perhaps even wondered if it were a misspelling or other error. Well, it is not. This word is transliterated from the Hebrew as yeshurûn meaning to be upright, Jeshurun is a symbolical name for Israel and the root word meaning is to be straight or even, to be (causative to make) right, be pleasant, and be prosperous according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. God’s people then and now are to be upright (righteous), walk the straight path with Him, be pleasant, and to be prosperous. Yes, prosperous in all things here and now.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow with the pouring out of the Word.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
PARTNERSHIP AND GIVING – Those of you who are not Partners of this Ministry and you find this ministry to be of value to you and perhaps others with whom you share it, we ask you to consider becoming Partners. A Partner is one who prays for the Ministry on a regular basis and contributes to the Ministry on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually). Thank you and may the Lord be pleased with your decision.
