JUDE – PART THIRTY-THREE
Greetings dear saints of God and all pre-saints of God and welcome back to this study of the Bible Book of Jude. This Book has to do with holding to the pure Truth. The Truth was being seriously corrupted before the end of the first century AD. That is not to say that the Truths of what we call the Old Testament had not been seriously corrupted by the time Jesus entered the earth. Many readers may be saying, not me, not my Church! Are you sure?

Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in this wonderful Book of Jude.
Jude 1:10-13 (KJV)
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
As you will recall the Lord has been having me do a kind of review of the verses we had already covered and I am amazed at what He has illuminated. We left off last Saturday discussing the angels in verse six that kept not their God given assignments. I have heard various teachings concerning these angels, now fallen, and way under our feet whether they be in chains today or not.
Luke 10:18-20 (KJV)
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Notice the phrase “nothing shall by any means hurt you”? Do you suppose He is kidding? We must see ourselves in Christ Jesus and impervious to any threat of the enemy. Fear not!
Ephesians 1:20-23 (KJV)
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
He and we are far above all evil spirits even Satan himself. Treat them like the dirt or grass beneath your feet.
Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Declare with your own voice that you are seated in Heaven in Christ Jesus in the seat of authority which is at the right hand of the Father.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Saturday. Remember, you are not subject to the wiles of the demons unless you choose to be through fear or ignorance.
