Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this in-depth study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good to give us His Word, a light to our path. We have no excuse for not knowing the ways of God and imitating them. The featured picture today is of a beautiful church building in the State of Michigan. This is to remind us to pray for the body of Christ. There is a desperate need for the Truth in the body of Christ. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.

Isaiah 59:16-19 (NASB)

16 And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.

17 He put on righteousness like a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle.

18 According to their deeds, so He will repay, Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; To the coastlands He will make recompense.

19 So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the LORD drives.

Today I will move forward from verse 17 or our primary Bible text to verse 18. It seems that in this 18^th verse He is talking about wicked people, those who are not His. This is talking about the final judgment of each wicked person.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NASB)

9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

10 “I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.

Now, to the great White Throne judgment.

Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

This final judgment is for all who have ever lived or were living at the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ who did not serve God. What an awful day but Scripture tells us that all are without excuse, the Lord is just. Pay particular attention to verse twenty of the following passage.

Romans 1:18-22 (NASB)

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

God is just.

Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
