GO OUT WITH JOY
Video link: https://youtu.be/SXHW0rRMZRY
Greetings dear saints and pre-saints and welcome back to this exciting Bible study of the Prophetic and instructive Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good to give us a light for His path for us. He does not come and walk with us; we must choose to join Him on the path He has prepared for us.
Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for valuing this teaching enough to share.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 55:10-13 (KJV)
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
Yesterday I left off expounding on the Parable of the Sower as it relates to our text, specifically verses 10 and 11 above. I will pick up with that today again reviewing the fourth group of people to whom the Word was sown.
Matthew 13:23 (KJV)
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
In this fourth group the Lord calls their hearts “good ground” but notice the results are not the same. Some brought forth a hundred-fold, some sixty, and some thirty. Did you notice that understanding the Word sown into our hearts is the key to bearing fruit? I hope it is a given that our understanding is correct, is the Truth, and not a doctrine of demons or a tradition of men. Not everything we hear in Church or our favorite study guide is the Truth, it is our responsibility to receive, prove, and then believe the Word implementing it into our lives. To prove the Word means to evaluate it in context and finding other witnesses to the same idea.
Before moving forward, I want to ask again. Who is responsible for determining if the Word will be fruitful and to what extent? You and me alone are responsible! Let me draw our attention once again to the Truth that there was a diversity of fruitfulness from the “good ground”. This has to do with the condition of the heart. What is the condition of my heart, your heart? Our heart is that part of our spirit which is called the soul (mind, will, emotions). To what extent is our mind renewed (Romans 12:2) to the thoughts, words, and ways of God? Now, let’s start on verse twelve of our primary text.
Isaiah 55:12 (KJV)
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Remember that all of the promises of God are directly dependent on our repentance and obedience. It is we who decide the conditions of our lives. God through His Prophet starts to describe the place He desires for His people; however, will they heed verse seven.
Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
They and we can come out of the curse on every side due to poor ungodly decisions enter the blessing. We go out in joy guided by peace. The word joy in our text is a feminine noun meaning joy, rejoicing, gladness, pleasure. It refers to the reality, the experience and manifestation of joy and gladness. It refers to a celebration of something with joyful and cheerful activities according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – Old Testament.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, the Lord is good, He has ONLY good plans for each of us, and He cannot lie.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
