Greetings to all at the start of another week, let us all acknowledge the goodness of God. Welcome back to this illuminating study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good to give us the Truth, the only source of Truth (capitol T since of divine origin). Are you looking for Gods’ light on your path or are you pretty much calling the shots? Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth, Gods’ Truth. It is my Truth to the extent that I receive it of Him and give unto you. The featured picture “Reclaiming The 7 Mountains of Culture” is to remind us to pray for all peoples and for righteousness to permeate every sphere.
Matthew 13:33 (KJV)
33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
When we take the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven (God) into each of these “Mountains of Culture” by faith in love led of the Holy Spirit, over time the whole mountain will be leavened or full of and reflecting the culture of the Kingdom of God.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 52:7-9 (KJV)
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Last week I left off talking about verse seven and the phrase “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings”. There is much more that can be said about that verse and we will plunge back into it today. One final point about the feet that I want to bring into your thinking. I have spoken of this before but it has been quite some time. Let’s revisit the occasion just hours before the Cross when Jesus washed the disciples’ feet.
John 13:5-8 (KJV)
5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
As we evaluate this let’s not lose track of the fact that water in the Bible commonly represents the Word of God. Just as natural water makes us clean physically so spiritual water (Word of God) makes us clean spiritually. This occurrence has been generally thought to be Jesus teaching a lesson in humility. Many Churches have special services or times of foot washing to demonstrate humility. It has become a tradition of men. Don’t forget Jesus is preparing these present for the taking of the gospel of the Kingdom into all the world. They cannot be ready without the washing of the Word. This event has its beginning in the establishment of the Tabernacle (symbolic of us, the body of Christ, and the Christ).
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember the Lord is love and cannot lie.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
