Greeting precious saints of the only Living God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and welcome back to our encouraging study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Before we proceed, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible increasing our reach to more people with the Truth. Truth is harder to come by than many realize. Most people believe they are hearing only the Truth at their Church. Are they, are you? Are you testing all things or just gulping it down or perhaps even worse just ignoring and being preoccupied with things of the world. The featured picture today is of Donna and me during a recent trip to Faith Chapel in Pennington Texas. Very enjoyable trip with our friends Jeff and Denise Stiewig. The Pastor and people were a joy to be with and we all were ministered to Spiritually as well.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text today in the King James Version continuing to read out loud. You are reading out loud, right?
Isaiah 53:1-3 (KJV)
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
We have clearly entered Messianic language, in fact that will be the case for this whole chapter. As desperately as Israel needed redemption from those who held them in bondage, the whole world, including you and me, desperately needed a Messiah, a Savior. They were in bondage for choosing Satan over God and so were we. I know we didn’t really think of it that way but that is the bottom line. Now as a professing Christian are we also choosing Satan over God from time to time? Don’t you wish I would just tickle our ears and move on? I am too concerned about you and me being full partakers of the victory Jesus won to sugar coat the Word. We have a command, a mandate, to flourish here like Heaven. We are not in a battle to defeat the devils; we are in a fight to occupy in the earth what they now occupy illegally.
As we meditate on the first verse, we are asked a question. Whose report have I, have you, believed? What we think about and talk about reveals which report we have believed. What we think about and talk about is what we have. Sorry dear ones, I did not write the Scripture nor establish the laws of the Kingdom that apply to mankind forever. We are then asked another question. Who will see the Power of God revealed? Well, that takes us right back to the first question. The ones who believe the reports of the Prophets, of Scripture will see the Power of God revealed. Are you a witness of the following?
Matthew 4:23 (KJV)
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
I don’t want to hear any squealing; “but that was Jesus”. Jesus said this.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Failure to see the arm of the Lord revealed is due to unbelief. Believing the wrong reports corrupts our authority and leaves us powerless.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
