LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART FORTY-ONE

TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to this wonderful, powerful, and imagination provoking study of life in Heaven. As you will recall, the Lord has had me divide the study or direct our focus into eight time periods and we are currently discussing the sixth which is the time period from the Rapture (second wave of the first Resurrection) to the Second Coming of Christ.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
There is a lot going on during this sixth time period, which is commonly thought to be a seven-year period, but is more likely a ten-year time period both in the earth and in Heaven. The Tribulation is a seven-year period of time divided into forty-two months and forty-two months. The second forty-two-month (3½ years) period is commonly referred to as the Great Tribulation. The event that marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation is the “abomination that maketh desolation” with the stopping of daily sacrifice (Daniel 11:31). This will take place in the Third Temple. There does appear to be a three-year lag from the Catching Away (Rapture) and the onset of the Tribulation. This three-year gap is based on the prophetic message of the three Fall Feasts of the Lord. The first coming of Christ was prophesied by many Prophets but also illustrated in the type and imagery of the four Spring Feasts of the Lord. It is my belief that the three-year gap is filled with the building of the third Temple, and the establishment of the antichrist. Once the antichrist has consolidated power, he makes a treaty for the safety of Israel. The Christians with Holy Spirit have left the earth and therefore the protection provided by the United States and others is now absent. Of course, this covenant is a ruse, the devil has wanted to destroy God’s people from the beginning and especially the seed of Abraham. If Israel, the seed of Abraham, were not to exist Scripture would be proven false, and God defeated. Of course, that is not going to happen (not even close) but that is the plan of an ever hopeful and deluded devil. The onset of Tribulation which is the wrath of God and of the Lamb (Daniel’s seventieth week) is marked by the signing of a Covenant between Israel and the antichrist.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Heaven is of course very busy with the arrival of all the saints from the earth in the Catching away. Throughout the Tribulation there will be persons saved by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of their testimony and they will be killed by the antichrist when found out and their souls will be arriving in Heaven throughout this time period. The persons left in the earth following the catching away of the saints will know and say this is the wrath of God and the wrath of the Lamb, yet for the most part they do not repent, they hid. Go figure.
Revelation 6:15-17 (KJV)
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The Devil and his minions will be unrestrained and evil will rule (2 Thessalonians 2:7). There will be great death in the earth as evil and the antichrist reign, and simultaneous with that will be the final judgment of Israel. This judgment occurs for her rejection of the Messiah, and for parting her own land. This Tribulation period is described in some detail in the Book of Revelation chapters four through nineteen. However, even during this most terrible time, our God is merciful. He sends two witnesses believed to be Enoch and Elijah into the earth, principally to Israel, to preach the gospel.

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
In addition, angels will be sent from Heaven to preach the gospel.
Revelation 14:6-7 (KJV)
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday. Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
