THE KINGDOM OF GOD – PART FOURTEEN

DO YOU BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

Greetings and welcome to all, the regulars and the new visitors. The Lord is good and greatly to be praised. For some weeks I have been teaching about the Kingdom of God/Heaven and repentance. Jesus told us that the Kingdom of God was within us and the Apostle Paul elaborated saying it was righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The Kingdom of God is first spiritual or four dimensional which then manifests in this physical three-dimensional world. Now the 4^th dimension is very real, it is not imaginary or without substance. The spirit realm contains and controls the physical realm. Nothing exists in the physical realm that was not birthed in the spirit realm.

The Kingdom of God is a huge part of what John the Baptist preached and what Jesus preached.

Mark 1:14-15 (KJV)

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Let’s once again reflect upon our anchor Scripture for this study then return to Mark 1:15.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Looking back at Mark 1:15 we see there was a need for repentance. Remember, Jesus is talking to religious leaders and Jewish people who were very familiar with the laws of God. Repentance means to change ones thinking about a thing and go the very opposite direction in thought, word, and deed. These people thought they were right with God, but they were not. What about us? Are we hearing the Truth from our leaders, are we taking the time to study for ourselves being good Bereans? Do we also have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof? Look around. There is a lot of religious activity of various sorts depending on denomination but where is the Power, where is the Book of Acts, where is Isaiah sixty-one? Looking at Mark 1:15, let’s ask ourselves, do we believe the gospel? Let’s move ahead.

Matthew 6:9-11 (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

This passage is most commonly recognized as a portion of the Lord’s Prayer. In verse nine we see the Person and Place from which the Kingdom originates. Then Jesus instructs us to command, to bring, the Kingdom, the will of God that exists in Heaven into the earth. This is not new by the way. God promised this to the Old Testament people if they would worship Him. To worship is to be completely submitted to God in this case.

The Kingdom of God is within the believer therefore it will emanate forth from us. First in the spirit realm, that is our thoughts and words and then manifest in the physical realm. The manifestations of the Kingdom we put in place will be all that righteousness means, all that peace brings, and all that joy brings. We have reviewed these in some detail previously, but it is all good things.

TAKE HOME:

Just as God brought forth all of creation in the beginning from within Himself so we bring forth the manifestations of the Kingdom of God in the earth today.
We must decree the thing, and it will be done for us.
Do you believe the gospel, the good news of the Kingdom of God, are you fully persuaded? Does your life reflect that, Truth?

Lord willing, I will pick up right here with our study of the Kingdom of God next Saturday. The Lord is good, He is not the source of our problems, neither is the devil, and He cannot lie! God loves you; we love you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
