ALMOST PERSUADED

Greetings dear saints and welcome back to the teachings on The Kingdom of God and His righteousness. This was the main theme of Jesus’ Ministry and thus must be a main theme of our Ministry in the earth in His stead. Jesus has won the war with darkness.
Colossians 2:15 (KJV)
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Now we are to occupy until Jesus returns for an accounting.
Luke 19:13 (KJV)
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Jesus was either teaching how the Kingdom of God worked or demonstrating how it worked. Now let’s jump into our anchor text and then on to the next teaching from the Master.
Matthew 6:31-33 (NKJV)
31 Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
We see here the Truth I speak of frequently that all physical manifestations in this material world originate in the spirit realm be it good or bad. The laws of the spirit realm or 4th dimension regulate, control, and contain the physical or 3rd dimension. Now to more about the Kingdom of God from the mouth of the Master.
Mark 12:32-34 (KJV)
32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
This man is right at the decision point of believing in his heart, declaring with his mouth, and entering the Kingdom of God (salvation). This reminds me of another Scripture featuring the Apostle Paul and King Agrippa.
Acts 26:27-28 (KJV)
27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Where are you right now? Are you at the door of the Kingdom of God, already in the Kingdom of God, or running from the Kingdom of God? As we are closing for today let’s look at another who was at the door and then entered.
John 3:1-3 (KJV)
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
You are probably familiar with how this exchange continues, then we find Nicodemus in the end with Joseph of Arimathea.
John 19:38-40 (KJV)
38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
TAKE HOME:
- Jesus has won the war with darkness. Colossians 2:15 (KJV) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Now we are to occupy until Jesus returns for an accounting.
- The laws of the spirit realm or 4th dimension regulate, control, and contain the physical or 3rd dimension.
- Where are you right now? Are you at the door of the Kingdom of God, already in the Kingdom of God, or running from the Kingdom of God?
