GIFTS – PART TWENTY
Friday – March 6, 2020, Adar 10, 5780

Greetings dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. We truly hope that all of you are enjoying this Sunday series titled “Gifts”. I have started with the foundational gift of salvation or at least I will get to it in time. First, I have been laying out the legal foundation that was necessary for salvation to be available to mankind.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We know from other Scripture that God can get frustrated with mankind. It is not surprising that God would get frustrated since we get frustrated with others from time to time and we are in His image and likeness. I am sure the Lord has had opportunity to shake His head in frustration with me from time to time, what about you, what about now, but I am so thankful for repentance, forgiveness, restoration, and for His abundant compassion and mercy.
Ladies be sure you have a brochure (flyer) and that you are registered for the Women’s Conference at New Beginnings Church of God, themed The Virtuous Woman, on the 30th of May 2020. Donna has an Anointed and dynamic speaker lined up in the person of Rev. Denise Stiewig of San Antonio, Texas. And, don’t forget the Sabbatical Moments arm of this Ministry which reaches out to discouraged, fatigued Pastors. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and to increase the reach of this Ministry. What could be easier in being a part of the “Great Commission”? Now, let’s pick up our study in Genesis chapter twenty-two, the most pivotal chapter in the whole Bible except for the day Jesus went to Calvary.
Genesis 22:15-19 (KJV)
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
Many accounts in Old Testament Scripture are types and shadows of the Messiah to come or other end time events. Such is the case with our current study of the life of Abraham. Yes, the Old Testament is Scripture, it has not passed away, and God has not changed His mind about what He said then. I hope that we all understand that the whole of the Bible has to do with the recording of examples from which we can learn and commandments from God to make us safe in every way. What I have been presenting for some twenty weeks now is vital to our salvation and not just cute children’s Church lessons. You might take a look at the whole tenth chapter of 1 Corinthians. I am presenting just a small portion to reinforce what the Lord has led me to expound this week.
1 Corinthians 10:9-11 (KJV)
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
What would tempting Christ be? Would it be a frustrating of the Holy Spirit, His leadership? Would it be a rejection of the Word of God and going one’s own way? Of course, it is! Notice those that tempt or frustrate the Holy Spirit, the Anointing, the Anointed One (the Word) are destroyed by serpents. It may not be that our homes will be overrun with poisonous snakes but it will be overrun by something much worse, demons and the curse through the door we threw wide open. This open door allows even invites darkness, and deception. Next comes stealing, killing, and destroying in our life and we wonder why. Have any of us been doing any murmuring lately? Murmuring is grumbling. Grumbling (irritated, upset, touchy, complaining, or bellyaching) about whatever at our Church or other saints of God. From the 1 Corinthians Scripture it looks like not following the leadership of the Holy Spirit and complaining get one to about the same place, a place of destruction. Do any of us really want any of that in our lives? Finally, in verse eleven (eleven is the number of alignment) we find that all of these things recorded are for our learning and to be a caution or warning for us that we not fall into the same trap of the enemy as others before us. I really will try getting to our Genesis text again next week.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
