GIFTS – PART ONE HUNDRED-THIRTY-SIX
ARMOR OF GOD – PART SEVENTY-EIGHT
SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – PART THREE

Greetings dear and precious children of God the Father and welcome back to our study of “Gifts” currently dealing with the “Armor of God”. Please take a few moments to share this teaching by every means available to you playing a role in the spreading of the good news (gospel) of the Kingdom of God. Knowing there is a Kingdom of God and how to gain access is by itself extraordinarily good news.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Then to know that the head of this Kingdom is nothing but good, adds to the wonder.
Exodus 34:6-8 (KJV)
6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
And then to know that God, the head of this Kingdom, has provided us with everything (already – the answer is not on the way, it is here) for this natural life and godliness in this life and that to come again magnifies His goodness. God the Trinity has already done the heavy lifting. We access it all and make it manifest in our lives by faith walking in love. Where do you beat a deal like this? Again, let me again stir up our memories concerning the importance of knowledge of God in the acquiring of anything in the Kingdom including entrance by reviewing the following passage from 2nd Peter.
2 Peter 1:2-4 (KJV)
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Now, let’s turn our attention to a portion of the armor of God passage with our focus coming to rest in verse seventeen on the phrase “the sword of the Spirit”. Read out loud and slowly.
Ephesians 6:12, 14-18 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Bold added)
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
So, what do we do with the Word of God? Is to know it enough? Or is there more? How did God bring the creation into the physical realm? How did Jesus heal the sick, cast out devils, and calm storms? How have the Prophets and others of all time brought the things of God to pass in their lives or the lives of others? We speak the Word, the will of God in Jesus name.
2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Romans 4:17 (KJV)
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here July 1st with “Praying always”. We love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
