AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

BELIEVERS MINISTRY – PART SEVEN
THE UPSIDE – DOWN CHURCH
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. For several weeks I have been teaching on the Believers Ministry, The Upside-Down Church. Let me ask one more time, how did we spend 2022, how will we spend 2023? Do our plans for 2023 primarily concern putting the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things first? Have you, have I, talked to God about this new year? Are we going to do the same things in 2023 we did in 2022 that did not produce fruit? In order for change to occur, a change must be made. Albert Einstein said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Are we willing to change or perhaps you say “I don’t know what to change”. As you will recall from prior teachings, we, the Church, have absolute authority in the earth and the Power to back up the authority. Before moving forward please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry beyond its current bounds. Are you reading out loud? I will now continue taking us through the Scriptures to illuminate the Ministry of the Believer. I will once again start with the following Scripture.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking and He is talking to all that believe on Him. Do I, do you, believe on Him? If so, He is talking to us. Doing the works Jesus did in His earthly Ministry is a command from the Head of the Church. Would Jesus tell us to do this if we, those who believe on Him, did not have the authority and the Power to do it? I hope you know the answer is a resounding NO! So, what’s the problem? The answer always settles at obedience and faith. Consider that a lack of obedience is a lack of faith. The foundation underlying it all is love (agape). Last week I ended with the following passage, so let’s review.
Ephesians 4:10-13 (KJV)
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The question I have been addressing from the start of this series is this. Is the superstar structure of the Church today the will, the intent, of God from the creation? Many times, when we look at someone and desire their Anointing or hear of an impartation service of a prominent Christian we would be asking for an “Anointing” inferior to what we already have. We already have all authority and we have the Holy Spirit. There is no authority in the earth greater, there is no Power anywhere greater. Let us not be duped like Adam and Eve into a lesser status. The purpose of the Five-Fold Ministry outlined in the preceding Scripture is to train the body to mature into the full stature of Christ. Then we are fully trained to do all the works of Jesus and the greater works. We are to continue the Ministry of Jesus and more in the earth. We are sent just as the twelve, and then the seventy of that time.
Matthew 10:1 (KJV)
1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Luke 10:1 (KJV)
1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Seventy is the number of the nations, the gentiles, us.
Luke 10:17-20 (KJV)
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Doesn’t all of this sound much like what Jesus said (again) on the Mount of Olives just before ascending to the Father?
