FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FIFTY-FIVE
THE GOODNESS OF GOD

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. Before moving forward please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible expanding our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. We are such a blessed people to have a good God, the god of this world is not good, there is no goodness at all in him (the devil and his hoards).
James 1:17 (KJV)
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Notice the use of the words “good” and “perfect” being attributed to our Heavenly Father, Father God. If it is good and perfect (complete with no sorrow) it is from God not the devil. Listen to Jesus. You are reading out loud so you can listen? You do have ears to hear, right? You want to please God, right?
John 10:10 (AMP)
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
This is not just a “New Testament” thing you know; God has always been good to His people. Consider the Words of God through His servant, His Prophet Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (KJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
God’s ear is always listening for those we are searching for Him with a pure heart, with all of their heart. I might add with the right motives. When we come to Him, He will turn away our captivity (financial, physical). Oh, what a good God! The goodness flows out of obedience.
John 14:21 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Doing things Gods’ way turns on the spicket of blessings and doing things Satan’s way turns on the spicket of the curses. It may appear good at first but misery and sorrow are hidden in it. Consider Deuteronomy twenty-eight. First, Gods’ way.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Now the way of the god of this world.
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
As each of us examine the fruit in our individual lives we can judge where our choices have taken us and who we have turned too. Is it the God of Heaven or the god of this world system?
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
