GIFTS – PART FOURTEEN
Friday – January 24, 2020, Tevet 27, 5780

Greetings wonderful and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating and empowering Bible Study if we choose to be empowered. The primary purpose of our empowerment is to please our Heavenly Father, and be obedient to His will in our lives. This will impact the Kingdom of God, others around us, and He will see to it we are blessed in the process. Our focus however is not us but Him and others. Will we receive, believe, embrace, and implement the light we see or will we reject it or be slack with the light our Heavenly Father brings to us? Being slack is laziness, and rebellion against God and brings or allows stealing, killing, and destroying into our lives. The yoke and burden of the Lord are easy and light why do we fight against it so?
Matthew 11:30 (KJV)
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons. Just do it, there is no incognito place of victory in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said that if we did not confess Him before men (or women) He would not confess us before the Father. I don’t want any of that music! As you will recall this (now) Friday series is dealing with the many wonderful gifts we can enjoy from God starting with the foundational gift of salvation.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I have been building, illuminating, the legal path established for the coming of a Messiah, Christ Jesus our Lord. There is a myth in the Church that God just does as He pleases whenever He pleases and nothing could be further from the Truth. God will not violate the authority or freewill of man and the devil cannot. Consider the initiation of Blood Covenant (life is in the blood – first of animals and now of the Christ) on the Day of Sin and Death in the Garden of Eden.
Genesis 3:21 (KJV)
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
There is no evidence that God forced them to accept the blood sacrifice or required them to be clothed with the skins of animals. The shedding of this and all animal blood to follow was looking forward to the Cross of Christ Jesus and His Resurrection. This was a temporary covering for sin but the sacrifice and Blood of Christ Jesus expunged (purged, removed) sin forever. He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. What a deal! The blood of animals covered their sin and gave them a measure of physical prosperity (physical life and health) and a place in the bosom of Abraham a protected compartment of Hell and not Hell itself until Messiah could come. But we dear saints have had our sins blotted out completely and have eternal life, life as God knows life here and in eternity. As we think about the implications of having life as God knows life and examine our lives what do we have to say about why we are so slack to possess the full promises, the provisions, of God?
I will now pick up in Genesis chapter twenty-two where we left off last week. It seems to me that this is the pivotal chapter of the whole Bible, in this Chapter and on this day the salvation of mankind was on the line, depended on the obedience (love) of Abraham and Isaac. The same would be true some two thousand years in the future. The salvation of mankind would depend upon God the Father and the Word in the flesh being obedient (love – agape) to Scripture, to Blood Covenant. Yes, God may have been able to raise up another man to make Blood Covenant and bring the Messiah but man has freewill so perhaps not, then what? Remember, God has been herding cats (and so is your pastor) since the Garden of Eden and that only got worse with the increasing entrenchment of the devils and the curse.
God had to deal with Abraham for over twenty-four years before He could get Abraham’s and Sarah’s faith to a level adequate to bring the miracle necessary in Sarah (heal barrenness) to bring Isaac into the world. The final thing that brought their faith to an adequate level was when God changed Abram’s (high father) name to Abraham (father of a multitude) and Sarai’s (princess) name to Sarah (mother of a multitude). Faith comes by hearing and when they heard these new names and their meanings and then they said their name again and again faith came and with-it Isaac. Isaac is now perhaps as old as thirty-three (the age of Jesus at the Crucifixion) and God has asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son whom he loves. The Blood Covenant has been in place since chapters fifteen and seventeen of Genesis but is now being tested. The Law of Reciprocity is being tested. If Abraham is willing to sacrifice his son and Isaac is willing to be sacrificed then God has to be willing to send and Jesus (the Word) has to be willing to come and be sacrificed for the sins of all peoples.
Genesis 22:7-10 (KJV)
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
As they head up Mount Moriah for the ultimate testing of the Blood Covenant that will bring the Lamb of God into the earth Isaac becomes curious. It appears that Isaac did not know before this point that he was the one to be sacrificed. However, perhaps he saw with his father, The Lamb of God. Listen to Jesus.
John 8:56 (KJV)
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Abraham saw the day of Jesus right at the foot of Mount Moriah as we discussed in Genesis 22:4. Remember that both the numbers 22 and 4 have to do with light, the Anointed Word of God. You can fully imagine that Abraham was thrilled knowing that God was making a way for all of mankind not just for him that day. Remember that the God kind of love (agape) is obedience to the Word, selfless lifestyle, and adherence to Blood Covenant. Abraham and Isaac certainly demonstrated obedience to the Word, selflessness, and adherence to Blood Covenant. God was far and away first in their lives. What about us?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
