GIFTS – PART ONE HUNDRED-TWELVE
ARMOR OF GOD – PART FIFTY-FOUR
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome back to our Bible Study of “Gifts” currently dealing with the “Armor of God”. Can we believe it, 2021 is nearly spent, we are in the waning moments of another year and tomorrow morning is a new, a fresh, beginning, a new year, 2022? Before we move forward, please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible expanding our reach with the Truth. As we prepare to enter 2022 lets purpose in our hearts to be good Bereans’ and to Study the Word of God to rightly divide it and be approved of God. The Word of God is rightly divided by the Word of God not our traditions, our denominational Statement of Faith, our favorite preacher or family member.
Acts 17:11-12 (KJV)
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Our walk before and with God is not a hobby, part-time endeavor, or something we do as we have time, but a 24/7 responsibility. As we focus upon the Kingdom and its business and His righteousness (Jesus, the Word, the Truth), He will look after us (big time).
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
As you are well aware I have for over 50+ weeks laid a foundation for the discussion and implementation of the whole armor of God. If you don’t know exactly what I’m talking about and you are like a calf at a new gate go back into the archives and review this whole study to this point. Just as in the natural we cannot jump into spiritual things in the middle without preparation and knowledge and expect success. Now, let’s take a moment and read our armor of God text from the Book of Ephesians continuing to read aloud, yes, out loud.
Ephesians 6:12-15 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Our battles are not with people even though people are the front persons for the demonic forces that seek to destroy them and us. The person that we may think is our problem is just as much, and perhaps more, under attack as we are. They need our prayers, the great power of intercession that we have in Christ Jesus. Because we are in spiritual battles the Lord, our loving Heavenly Father, has provided us with offensive and defensive spiritual weapons which enable us to win every battle hands down, no contest. Just like a physical weapon or tool must be understood to use properly and effectively so must our spiritual weapons, tools be understood. As we know more about our tools in the natural realms or in the spiritual realm, we gain confidence (faith) in them. We must never forget that our tools, our weapons in the spiritual realm are far superior to any natural tool or weapon. That is not to say we don’t have physical steps in our walk with God, we certainly do. However, a poor spiritual fight will bring not only stealing, killing, and destroying in the spiritual realm but in the natural as well. We must know who we are in Christ, our position as sons, our authority, and the Power backing us up.
Ephesians 1:16-23 (KJV)
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
The Head (the Lord Christ Jesus) is not the only One far above all spiritual powers but we the body as well in Him. The Apostle Paul prayed this for the folks at Ephesus, now, let us pray this in faith over ourselves and approach all spiritual battles from this position of overwhelming superiority in Christ Jesus.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
