COMMAND YE ME – PART FOUR
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to another edition of my Bible teaching from the wonderful Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good to give us a lamp unto our feet which is the Word of God. Please take a moment to share this Bible teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is provided by Marilyn Stevens who takes the most wonderful, beautiful wildlife pictures, especially birds. Thank you so much Marilyn for these beautiful pictures.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 45:11-13 (KJV)
11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
Today I will continue and I believe finish with verse eleven. The ideas here are present from the first chapter of Scripture and throughout Scripture. Gods’ idea not mine, remember He had the Book written well before I came on the scene. There are many divisions of the Christian (those who believe on Jesus) faith. This started in the early Church when Jesus was hardly back in Heaven. Division is of the devil and our flesh and arise around false beliefs concerning Scripture. Perhaps you have said or heard it said “well we just don’t believe it that way” or “we don’t interpret it to mean that”, and so on. We are not commanded to interpret Scripture according to our various filters but to see and receive Scripture just as it is written. Listen to the Apostle Peter (you are reading out loud, right?)
2 Peter 1:16-21 (KJV)
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
There are many fables in the Christian Church. Have you read my book, “Sacred Cows Among the Ekklesia”? The word “prophecy as it is used in context here is not talking of foretelling but inspired (Anointed) speaking forth. Pay particular attention to verse twenty and twenty-one. Now, let’s move to one part of our Lords’ instructions (commands) before going to Heaven.
Mark 16:16-20 (KJV)
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Who is speaks to devils in the name of Jesus and cast them out? Who tramples over all of the demons in the name of Jesus? Who lays hands on the sick in the name of Jesus? Why did the devils leave, and sick recover? They spoke the Word of God and God confirmed His Word. We speak, He does the works. He needs our obedience (love), our mouth, and our hands.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
