LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART TWENTY-ONE

TIME FRAME FOUR
Genesis 3:6 to Hebrews 1:3
God is so good, nothing but good. Thank you for rejoining this wonderful, hope giving, and faith building Bible Study of Life in Heaven. Heaven is our home, many are there now and we will join them in a very short period of time. This life is but a vapor but I cannot emphasize enough that it is this vapor that determines our eternity. What we do here determines first of all whether our home is Heaven or Hell, secondly it determines our eternal punishment or our eternal rewards. It also determines our specific assignments in eternity. As you know this study titled “Life in Heaven” will cover eight time periods or dispensations. As the Lord moved and Anointed me to do this series these eight periods are what He gave to me. I am currently teaching about the fourth time period which is commonly referred to as the Old Testament time-frame. Next week I will be moving into the fifth time period which is the time period in which we live.
Those persons that entered Covenant with God by believing upon Jesus and died during the time of Jesus ministry their soul/spirit went into Abraham’s Bosom. It was not until His resurrection did anyone’s immaterial man go directly to Heaven. When Jesus died spiritually and physically on the Cross He went into Hell bearing the judgment of sin but He was found innocent and Justice demanded that He be delivered. He therefore went into the Bosom of Abraham and preached the gospel emptying Paradise and taking them to Heaven. As you will recall some were allowed to walk the earth briefly before ascending to Heaven. They walked the earth transiently and ascended to Heaven as resurrected persons, this was the first wave of the First Resurrection. A person resurrected from the dead receives an uncorrupted or immortal body whereas persons raised from the dead as during the ministry of Jesus were raised with restored natural bodies, mortal bodies. Let’s look at this event recorded simultaneous with the Resurrection of Christ Jesus.
Matthew 27:51-53 (ESV)
51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.
52 The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised,
53 and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
From the Resurrection of Christ Jesus on the Feast of First fruits there was a fifty-day interval until the Day of Pentecost when God legally and freely reentered the earth in fullness available to all peoples. This fifty-day period is divided into two unequal segments. There was a forty day interval from the Resurrection until the Ascension of Christ Jesus to take His place at the right hand of the Father. Forty is a number of testing or proving.
Acts 1:3 (KJV)
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
Then there was a ten-day period until the outpouring of Holy Spirit not only in the upper room but over the whole earth. Ten is the number of responsibility. Remember, God can do nothing except a man in right relationship, in faith, in love, led of the Spirit utters His will into the earth. This happened in the upper room and this time-period (fifth) was ushered in. That day not only was God released to be among all men but all men who loved God could enter into the Most Holy place, the one in Heaven not built with human hands. After proper preparation all persons (born-again) can enter the Most Holy place which is where the Throne of God is located, Jesus’ throne is located, and the Mercy Seat not to mention the angelic beings. We are even now (our spirit man in two places simultaneously) seated on the throne at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus. Jesus took His blood to the Mercy Seat in Heaven immediately after His resurrection thereby granting entry of all these Old Testament saints who received Him in Abraham’s Bosom.

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Wow, the amazing love of our Savior! Mary Magdalene was still contaminated with sin but when He returned for the forty days of testing or proof she was not and neither were the others. They touched Him all they wanted and ate lunch with Him even though He was not just a man but all God. Oh, what a Savior, Oh, what a Father!

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Christ Jesus defeated the devil putting him to open shame and reclaimed the keys of Hell and death (spiritual and physical) the moment He was released from Hell. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus!
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
