PLUS, THE SALVATION PACKAGE – PART THIRTEEN
WE HAVE A WONDERFUL SALVATION PACKAGE WHICH IS MUCH MORE THAN AN ESCAPE FROM HELL TO HEAVEN

Greetings dear saints of God, and welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and our study of The Salvation Package. First let’s talk a moment about today, Memorial Day. Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day. Memorial Day was originally proclaimed by General John A. Logan on 5 May 1868. As you can see the first Memorial or Decoration Day took place right after the Civil War. This day is a commemoration, a remembrance of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. The American Civil War cost 625,000 lives from the north and south, Americas’ most costly war. The cost of freedom (Revolutionary War) was 25,000 precious lives in comparison. The price of maintaining freedom is high. Let us remember those who died in service to our country that we as a nation can shine as a beacon of hope to the whole world. Since the inception of this Commemorative Day, it has morphed (transformed) into a day when we remember all of our dead.
Now, let’s turn our attention to part thirteen of The Salvation Package. I left off last Thursday with Isaiah chapter sixty-one and we will return to that but first let’s again review the meaning of the word “salvation” for the definition alone tells us what is in the package. Common elements between the use of the word salvation in the Hebrew and Greek Bible to save, deliverance, prosperity, healing, to be whole, to be succored, and to be safe. We cannot do any of this on our own and none of it is part of the condemnation/damnation package offered by Satan.
One might ask what we are saved from. The answer is everything that is under the curse including physical death and eternal spiritual death which includes eternity in Hell. Salvation is rescue from the wrath to come from rejecting the Son of God. We are delivered from every bondage of Satan which would include demonic oppression of every type. Various negative habits and addictions would be in this deliverance. Prosperity of every kind is included in the Salvation Package. Yes, that includes great wealth in this life. Can you name a poor Patriarch? Our Salvation Package includes healing of any and all sickness that occurs in our body, that we allowed in one way or another. In Christ Jesus we are to be whole in every way, nothing missing, nothing broken, also the definition of peace. To be succored means to have someone that is ideally suited to be our help. That someone is the Holy Spirit, The Helper. Finally, our Salvation Package is the right to safety, safety in every aspect.
Does any of this happen automatically with salvation? The answer is a resounding no. We must know what is in the Salvation Package and lay hold of each and every promise by faith (fully persuaded), in love (obedient with a willing heart), led by the Holy Spirit. As I close for today let’s again meditate the 61st chapter of Isaiah.
Isaiah 61:1-2 (AMP)
1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
TAKE HOME:
- We have a wonderful Salvation Package which is much more than an escape from Hell to Heaven.
- Our Salvation Package includes salvation from the wrath to come which results from our rejection of the Son of God.
- Our Salvation Package includes deliverance from every bondage all of which are demonic or fleshly. There is no bondage in love. We have a right to wealth without sorrow, healing of all sickness, wholeness in every area of life, safety in every arena, and we have a Helper.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
