WE ARE SEATED IN CHRIST JESUS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER

Greetings and welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and our ongoing study of The Salvation Package. Frequently it is taught that we must be saved to go to Heaven and not Hell which is true. But salvation is far more than rescue from the wrath to come and already being experienced by those in Hell. When we declare with our mouth Jesus as Lord and Savior and believe in our hearts (mind) that God the Father raised Him from the dead we are saved (Romans 10:9-10). Our dead spirit man is made alive, and able to commune with God the Holy Spirit who takes up residence with us in the earthly tabernacle.
Asking for and receiving salvation is like stepping into the foyer of a large mansion with many rooms. Will we step into those other rooms, they are ours to enjoy completely. Just ahead is a hallway with a sign reading “peace” with many rooms connecting with signs reading join your mission with Christ, another reading prosperity, another reading peace with God, another reading being a unified whole, another reading quietness or tranquility in the Power of His might having put on the whole armor of God, another reads how to enter Gods’ rest, and a final one about being one with God.
Saints before the Resurrection have always had access to Heaven and eternal life albeit delayed to the coming of Christ. Nonetheless, at their natural death they entered a place in the earth adjacent to Hell which we see in the account Jesus gave of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar. With the shed blood of Jesus on the Cross (life is in the Blood), the destruction of His body by being made sin, His victory in Hell and His Resurrection these saints were freed from the Bosom of Abraham in Hell and led by the Risen Savior Himself to the Throne of the Father (Ephesians 4:8-10). You and I dear ones obtain eternal life at the point of salvation.
Let me spend just a moment explaining eternal life for those who have not thought about it or are confused about this. All persons saved or not will have eternal consciousness, awareness. Eternal life is referring to the quickening or bringing to life, communion with God, of our spirit man which is dead or unable to hear God before salvation. We don’t hear the term, but the other side of the coin is eternal death. Eternal death is the status of those who never received Jesus as Lord and have condemned themselves to Hell. Eternal life is the status of those who have received Jesus as Lord and are citizens of Heaven.
When we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior we are seated with Him at the Right Hand of the Father in Heaven. The Right Hand and at the same level indicates we have the same authority (delegated) as Jesus, the same authority Adam had in the earth. Let’s look at this because it is very important. Because of our position, in two places at once although not conscious of it, we can have the same light (revelation, discernment) as Heaven on the earth. This is part of our Salvation Package.
Ephesians 1:20-23 (KJV)
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Not only can we resist demonic powers as the saints of old but in Him we have full dominion over them.
Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
We are seated with and in Him at the Right Hand of the Father, when we speak in faith, in love, the evil ones cannot tell who is speaking for it sounds like Jesus. The angels also listen for His Words in our mouths to obey.
TAKE HOME:
- You and I dear ones have entered into eternal life, have citizenship in Heaven and in earth (secondarily) the very moment we are saved.
- You and I are seated in Christ Jesus at the Right Hand of the Father even now. Yes, spiritually we are in two places at once. Kind of sounds like our Father don’t you think?
- We the sons of God joined with Him, under His authority walk on the wonderful path He has prepared for each and every one of us. There is nothing like our Salvation Package.
