THE BRIDEGROOM REJOICES

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and welcome back to our study of this phenomenal Bible Book of Isaiah. Of course, all of Scripture is phenomenal for its Words are Anointed and have Life. When planted in good soil these Words will bring forth 30, 60, and 100-fold in our lives. Well, it is 2025 and we are off and running! The featured picture is of the State House in Honolulu Hawaii. This is featured to remind us of the importance to pray for all in governmental authority, it is imperative, but praying alone is insufficient. Now, let’s delve (investigate, research, probe, dig) into our primary Bible text from this Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 62:5-7 (NKJV)
5 For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.
6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
We are moving forward today into verse five of our primary Bible text. This text can be a little tricky at first read. The phrase I am referring to is “So shall your sons marry you”. That all dissolves however when we remember that a son is a builder and we substitute the word builders for son. Who are the builders? You and me, the Church, the body of Christ are the builders of the Kingdom of God. Without us there is no Kingdom. We have the authority backed by the Blessing (Power of God) to occupy what Jesus bought, conquered, with overwhelming victory at Calvary and all that followed. God (Father) and the Bridegroom (Jesus) rejoice over the Church, the bride. Dear ones as you read the following passage image the Rapture of the Church!
Joel 2:15-16 (NKJV)
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly;
16 Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.
The Bridegroom is stepping out of Heaven at the direction of the Father to bring His bride unto Himself, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and to the Father. The dressing room of the bride (we the Church) is our work for the Kingdom of God in the earth.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
O what a day dear ones, what a wonderful glorious day!
