THE KINGDOM OF GOD – PART THREE

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome to our ongoing study titled “The Kingdom of God”. We are a blessed people to have the Word of God to guide our lives. As mentioned previously there are 163 references to the Kingdom in the New Testament. Contrary to what might be heard in many Churches Jesus primarily taught the Kingdom of God. In the Bible Book of Matthew, we see the term Kingdom of Heaven, don’t let that throw you off it is the same as the Kingdom of God. Once again let’s examine, and meditate, our anchor Scripture.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Last Sunday I left off with a discussion of being righteous and the idea of righteousness. I directed you to our website for further study under the category of Righteousness. https://awakeariseandtriumphministries.org/ Jesus told us in Luke 17:21 that the Kingdom of God was within us and the Apostle Paul gave us further revelation saying it was righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Spirit) (Romans 14:17). Today let’s pick up with the concept the reality of peace, Godly peace, no peace as the world gives which is a devilish illusion.
What I am about to discuss is applicable not just to the Kingdom of God but to persons and nations. The Greek word eirēnē according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary translated to English means to be joined with, peace (literal or figurative), prosperity, to be one (spirit/soul/body), quietness (tranquility), rest (provision), and to be set at one (with Him) again according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Have you noticed that prosperity (physical and spiritual) is an expected part of the fulness of righteousness and now peace? All six components are vital to fulfilling the command to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness”.
We must be joined with God in purpose. We must be at peace with Him in salvation and in obedience after salvation. Prosperity is vital to effective Kingdom of God work. Prosperity is a part of our Covenant benefit in the Kingdom of God. No poor people in Heaven and He wants none of His people poor in the earth. That is at least a part of what is commonly called the “Lords’ Prayer” saying “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as in Heaven”. Let me deal with this prosperity thing just a little further since the Church is rife with erroneous teaching about money, about Christians and prosperity. Prosperity is a Covenant right, benefit. God does not have any money and will not counterfeit or steal so He gives us the power to get wealth, and not on the hamster wheel.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV)
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Now in the Amplified Bible.

18 But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Without wealth one is not walking fully in the Covenant. Still in right standing with the Father, still a family member (son or daughter), and still going to Heaven but falling way short of what God has enabled us to accomplish. We are in effect commanded to be wealthy. Continuing with this idea, spiritual reality (which will manifest physically) of peace we find we are now one, that is our spirit, soul, and body. Our spirit was once dead and now is alive, we are a unified whole albeit the body is mortal. We are to walk in quietness (tranquility) knowing who we are in Christ Jesus. We have entered into rest which is His provision not our own painful toil and sweat, the Seventh Day. Finally, as I end for today we are one again with Him.
