Greetings precious saints and others, and welcome back to this informative study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. As we move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. It encourages us to know you value these teachings enough to share. The featured picture is a reminder that we are to pray for all peoples including those of authority in our lives.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Remember change does not come solely by praying for them, others, but examining ourselves making changes, even repentance, in our lives (2 Chronicles 7:14). God can’t move through a dirty vessel. What are your thoughts towards those of authority, what is your conversation concerning those in authority?
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 54:3-5 (KJV)
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Yesterday I left off with verse three and “thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited”. The Seed is Jesus, and we are the Gentiles He has inherited. What about the desolate cities being inhabited? Is he talking about cities with no inhabitants or cites which are inhabited but broken down with all forms of sin? It is the latter. It seems that the Church is praying for and looking for a great move of God to do these things while we stand and look in amazement. Still others are expecting America and her great cites to continue the downhill slide into darkness and Jesus will come just in time before we are swallowed up. Neither of these ideas are Bible. You and me dear ones assigned with the task of bringing wisdom, innovation, live, and resources into these situations. Of course, the Lord, the Holy Spirit gives us leadership, His Wisdom, access to resources (of our own and the heathen), and His Power to perform the words of our mouths.
Isaiah 61:4 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember the Lord loves you; He is nothing but good, and He cannot lie.

14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
