BE VERY CAREFUL TO NOT HARBOR UNFORGIVENESS TOWARDS ANY INCLUDING OURSELVES

Greetings and welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries. A short while ago we received a prayer request here at the Ministry that involved people practicing the occult, and demons were wreaking havoc in this person’s life. We responded to that prayer request, but I was also quickened to do a brief teaching concerning Christians and demons. This study will by no means be definitive. This study will give a good foundation for ordering our thoughts concerning demons. You will also come away knowing without a doubt that you have total dominance over demons.
Today I will continue to move forward in developing our faith in the Word of God which tells us unequivocally that we have absolute dominance over all evil spirits. Let’s go to what I hope is a very familiar passage of Scripture for all.
Mark 11:22-26 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Teachers Note: Are you absolutely convinced with zero question, fully persuaded concerning Gods’ Word. This includes the Word that tells us we are far above all other created beings, and that we are to tread demons underfoot.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Teachers Note: Sometimes the mountain in the way is a demonic spirit and we must exercise our authority and remove the demon (mountain). We must be fully persuaded of the Word of God, we must speak (say), cast down all doubt, and then we will have what we said. Watch what you are saying.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Teachers Note: Do you believe you received when you prayed? If you did even though it was nowhere in physical manifestation it will manifest. The next two verses tell us what the major obstacle is to see the fulfilment or manifestation of the good things from God. Unforgiveness makes another your god. Let’s forgive and forget so the Father can forgive us as needed and forget.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Let’s move to two other passages as we continue to strengthen or knowledge and in turn our faith. No demon can have a piece of us if we stand firmly on the Word of God, but we can send them fleeing in terror.
Matthew 16:19 (KJV)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 18:18 (KJV)
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Are employing this tool in your walk with God. Are you inquiring of God for His Wisdom in the use of this authority? We have the authority in the earth, who are we allowing to work through that authority, God or Satan?
TAKE HOME:
- We must be fully persuaded of the Word of God, casting down all doubt, believing we received when we spoke.
- Must be very careful that we are not harboring unforgiveness towards any including ourselves. Our lack of forgiving others including ourselves blocks the Father from forgiving us and keeps an open door for the demons to steal, kill, and destroy in our lives.
- When we exercise our authority to bind (prevent) a thing or loose (cause to happen) a thing Heaven backs us up according to the Word of God, the will of God.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
