WE ARE SEATED WITH AND IN CHRIST AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER NOW

Greetings and welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries. A short while ago we received a prayer request here at the Ministry that involved people practicing the occult, and demons were wreaking havoc in this person’s life. We responded to that prayer request, but I was also quickened to do a brief teaching concerning Christians and demons. This study will by no means be definitive. This study will give a good foundation for ordering our thoughts concerning demons. You will also come away knowing without a doubt that you have total dominance over demons.
I will be picking up today where I left off last time in the first chapter of Ephesians. These Truths but be firmly implanted in our thoughts, our deepest beliefs or we will be the ones running in terror the next time the enemy puffs up and growls or roars. Can you answer the question, “who are you?” with unwavering confidence or is it a I hope so answer filled with doubt. Just as far as Jesus is above all created beings including demons so are we in Him. We are children of God, we have His spiritual DNA, He breathed of Himself into our tent made of the earth giving us citizenship in Heaven and in the earth.
Today, since the Resurrection of Christ, we are exactly like Jesus. We are little gods, and we will never be a God, large G. We are not omnipotent, omnipresent, or omniscient and never will be however we have access to all that God is in Christ. Believe me demons are no challenge to us any more than they are to God unless they can convince us with their lies, manipulation of circumstances, and using other people. Let’s go once again to the following passage.
Ephesians 1:19-23 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Are we getting this? That phrase “Far above” in verse twenty-one is not like floor to ceiling but earth to the sun. That Power, Resurrection Power, that brought Christ from the dead and seated Him again as the Second Person of God at the Right Hand of the Father is at work in us! That Power has not only quickened, made our spirit alive to God, but has raised us up and seated us with Christ at the Right Hand of the Father.
Ephesians 2:5-7 (KJV)
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
We are seated there spiritually at this very moment, yes you and I are in two places at once. I believe that our loved ones already in Heaven can see us seated there with Christ just as they are. We cannot see this for in this corrupted veil (body) we now must tolerate but soon freed from and given an uncorrupted body like unto that of Christ.
TAKE HOME:
- We are seated with and in Christ at the Right Hand of the Father even at this very moment. Read the Scripture and receive this Truth by faith.
- We are seated with Christ “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”
- Demons cannot by any means harm us unless we give them permission.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
