SUPPORTERS GIVE OF THEIR SUBSTANCE

Greetings dear saints of God, followers and partners with this Ministry. Today I am continuing our study of The Kingdom of God. This was the major thrust of Jesus’ earthly Ministry and therefore of ours. Really, the whole Bible if you are looking for it is instructing us in Kingdom of God living. Can you imagine there is a better life now or later than the life the Kingdom of God makes available? Yes, I am a prosperity teacher, prosperity in every arena of life, for that is what the Bible teaches. That is not to say that we are not presented with opportunities to fail, and in so doing suffer, but that is our choice, not God’s. Now that I have everyone riled up let’s turn to our anchor/golden text.
Matthew 6:33 (AMP)
33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
So, what is to be first in our lives? His Kingdom and His righteousness. Do we see this as a command, a command that applies to each of us individually and collectively? Do we see it as doable? Do we really understand what the Kingdom of God is how to put it first in our day to day lives? Righteousness is far more than right standing with our Heavenly Father but that is where it starts. Righteousness has to do with doing things the Fathers’ way, the Kingdom of God way, according to the laws of the Kingdom. Let’s go to the next passage discussing the Kingdom of God in our study.
Luke 8:1-3 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
Everywhere Jesus went preaching the good news of the Kingdom of God. Not only did you preach and teach about the good things of the Kingdom, but He demonstrated them as well. Do we have any examples of Jesus putting a demon on or in someone or causing anyone to be sick, or die? I hope you are not struggling with this, the short answer is a resounding NO. The following are the reasons that the curse is present in anyone’s life. It is ignorance of the laws of the Kingdom, not believing the laws of the Kingdom, not walking in love, disobedience, not following the leadings of the Holy Spirit, and ignoring the Blood Covenant.
Jesus Ministry was a traveling Ministry for the most part. I think most of us are familiar with this concept. We see from the text that not only were His twelve disciples with Him, but many supporters traveled with Him as well. These supporters were not just cheerleaders. Today these encouragers would be the ones who give a thumbs up, a heart or perhaps subscribe to your channel. The text is clear that these supporters were more than cheerleaders but they ministered to Him of their substance. They contributed money as needs or perhaps even desires arose. Keep in mind the disciples were not poor and neither was Jesus. Poor people don’t wear suits that people gamble for. Poor people are not astonished and perhaps even fearful when Jesus says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to be saved.
TAKE HOME:
