WHAT KIND OF SEED ARE YOU?

Greetings dear ones and welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries blog. Today I am continuing our study of “The Kingdom of God”. Remember the predominant theme of the Ministry of Jesus in the earth was of the Kingdom of God and repentance. Therefore, He has instructed me to do this teaching which is so vital to be a productive citizen of the Kingdom. Without further ado let’s go to our anchor Scripture.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Once again, I ask, do we really understand this, and have we received this as a command not as a nice suggestion or desirable issue? I think we have a ways to go otherwise we would all be flourishing in what we find in the Ministry of Jesus, Book of Acts, as well as Isaiah chapter sixty and sixty-one. Now, let’s move forward into our next passage.
Matthew 13:24-30 (KJV)
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Here we see, at least in part, Jesus’ answer to those people in every congregation that drag the health of the whole down. The tares consume water and nutrients best going to the wheat. This is describing the Kingdom of God here in the earth, not in Heaven, there are no tares in Heaven which is clear from verse thirty. These tares are people among us that to a degree look like us, act like us, but are not even saved. The enemy spoken of are the evil spirits.
You see, evil spirits go to Church, and they send some of their people to Church. The “householder” is Jesus and/or the Father. The servants are the Five-Fold Ministers. There can be soul ties between the wheat and the tares and disrupting the tares may be harmful to the wheat. The wheat have not recognized this tare as a tare. From verse twenty-five it seems that the servants became complacent and slept. They were not vigilant as to who was joining the field (congregation). This is the time to identify them and address them before they have taken root in the house. One final point, this can happen with a single person with good and bad seeds (tares) being received. This results in a corruption of the fruit production of the individual. It is a mixture of good and evil. This is a failure to do our anchor Scripture.
TAKE HOME:
- There are tares in every congregation, and they are not to be forcibly removed. We must pray for their recognition by leadership, the wheat and the tares alike followed by repentance and the tare becoming wheat.
- Let’s each one examine ourselves to determine if we are wheat or tare.
- Are you asleep on the job?
- What kind of seeds are we sowing, wheat or tares?
As the Lord wills, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
