Ministry Anointing Isaiah 50:1-9, Isaiah 61:1-4, Jeremiah 1:4-12
1 JOHN – CHAPTER TWO VERSE TWENTY-SEVEN

Greetings precious children of the Father, joint heirs of all creation, natural and spiritual, and my brothers and sisters in Christ. Welcome back to the Book of love written by the one I have been calling the Apostle of love. I will be picking up with the twentieth verse of the second chapter and see how far the Lord takes us. Be sure you are reading out loud. Listen intently to your own voice while asking the Holy Spirit to quicken these Words such that new light comes.
1 John 2:27-29 (KJV)
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
Now, let’s venture into verse twenty-seven of our text above. We have the Holy Spirit within because of the work of Jesus from Calvary to that Day of Pentecost recorded in the first chapter of Acts. As Old Testament saints they were familiar with the Holy Spirit being with them but not in them. They were familiar with the fact that the King, the Prophets, and the Priests had the Anointing upon them, even they did not have Him within. These had the experience of having the Anointing upon them, the twelve and the seventy, when Jesus sent them out. But now they are told He will be within them. Of course, we know now that this is indispensable for salvation, to a real intimacy with God, entrance into the Kingdom, the adoption as sons, and eternal life.
John 14:16-18 (KJV)
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Later in this chapter Jesus goes on and tells those at hand and us that the Holy Spirit who dwells within will teach us all things and bring all things to remembrance that He has said.
John 14:26 (KJV)
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
We can gather much information but what we need for an effective and productive Kingdom of God life is revelation knowledge. This comes only by our study and earnestly desiring the Word to be ours and at work in our lives. This only happens by the Anointing. Dear ones if we have not studied so as to be approved of God rightly dividing the Word He cannot bring it to our remembrance and it will not be functioning in our lives. We will just know about it but not be functioning as a Kingdom son.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
